History of OCS
Crossing over the rivers of Africa into the United States of America and through the amazing diversity visa lottery opportunity, two young Cameroonians came to the United States of American in search of a greener pasture. The founders took this journey that led them in providing shelter to a homeless man in their home, which is uncommon in the United States but a normal gesture from where they came from. The founders of OCS believe “one hand cannot tie a bundle”, and we work together to support our community in changing lives one at a time.
In October 2013, OCS obtained a certification to offer Relocation Services (RSC/MHM) and initiated client relocations in May 2014. The range of services provided by OCS expanded over the years, encompassing the acquisition of the 245D Home and Community Based Services license (HCBS) in 2015, additional Housing-related services in 2016, and the introduction of business consulting services in 2023. While rooted in the Twin Cities metro area, OCS extends its services to clients across the entirety of Minnesota.
